AUTIX® Welcomes SMU Senior and Automotive Enthusiast MacKenzie Thompson as Spring / Summer Intern

Thompson is a Senior Studying at SMU with a Major in Economics with 2 Business Minors

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, McKinney, Texas: Dallas/Fort Worth-based Autix Automotive, Inc., the leader in maximizing the value of specialty and modified vehicles as an asset class, announces the addition of MacKenzie Thompson to the team as their first Spring / Summer Intern. In this role, MacKenzie will assist AUTIX with social media and reputation management, investor outreach, market research, and building brand awareness.

MacKenzie is an avid car enthusiast with a passion for customizing her BMW’s and Jeep. She has also experienced the challenge that AUTIX is trying to solve of maximizing the value of her investments in modifications, making her a perfect fit for the role.

She currently attends Southern Methodist University where she is completing her last semester of undergraduate studies with a Major in Economics and two minors in General Business and Global Economics Business.

MacKenzie joins the AUTIX family as the company celebrates several accomplishments during the past 10 months including:

MacKenzie hopes to gain valuable experience in not only marketing, promotions, and brand building, but an understanding of the various aspects of early-stage startups and overall business operations.

“I am excited to be able to leverage my education along with my passion for cars to help AUTIX bring this much needed solution to the automotive aftermarket industry” says MacKenzie. “As a regular SEMA attendee and avid modifier, keeping track of my mods and getting a return on my investment has always been a challenge. AUTIX solves that challenge and I can’t wait to see it grow and expand to become a recognized industry standard.”
